As the current Principal of Vidyaloka College which was started in 1941, it is a pleasure to add a message to the college website.

Our school's vision is to create a generation of students with the knowledge, attitude, and skills to overcome future challenges, which has become one of the highest quality schools in the Galle District over a period of 80 years.

Our mission is to provide opportunities for students to develop their knowledge, attitudes, and skills inside and outside the school.

As a grade 1-13 functional 1AB National School with Science, Mathematics, Arts, and Commerce streams, our school currently has a student body of about 2500 and a staff of 118.

I intend to implement our mission to take Vidyaloka College towards the above vision.

I also appreciate the support of the Academic Staff, Old Boys' Association, and the School Development Society in the development of the college.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the school. I would like to thank all those who have contributed to the success of the school.
